LLANELWY Athletic continued their early dominance in the Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Division One with a 6-1 rout at Penrhyn Bay Dragons.

The newly formed side opened the scoring on 12 minutes courtesy of a Daniel Price effort, before prolific forward Martin King also got in on the act with a second after 17.

Robbie Brown and a Frankie Hennigan brace confirmed another three points within the opening 27 minutes of play, and Price completed the rout with his double with just 33 on the clock.

St Asaph City Reserves turned in a fine attacking display to come away from their trip to Betws-y-Coed with a 5-1 success.

A brace apiece from Ben Pato and Paul Jones did the majority of the damage, with a solitary Lewis Thomas strike rounding off a fine afternoon at the office for the young Saints.

Two goals from Alex Ballard was the highlight of Henllan’s convincing 3-0 home win over Llysfaen, with Andy Morrison (2), Tom McIntosh and Chris Rogers on target for Y Glannau in their 4-1 victory over Rhuddlan Town Reserves.

Llanfairfechan Town Reserves and Denbigh Development were involved in a goal frenzy which saw both sides take home a share of the spoils after an astonishing 6-6 final result.
