LLANELWY Athletic head the early Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Division One standings after an emphatic 8-0 win at Denbigh Development.
The newly formed side made light work of their opponents and took the lead on the half hour mark through Ash Hughes, before a brace apiece from Frankie Hannigan and Chris McQuillen put them further in command during a dominant spell.
Shane Evans also helped himself to two goals during the rout, with a stoppage time finish from Dan Evans rounding off the scoring.
Another big winner on matchday two were Y Glannau, who produced a sensational attacking display to secure an 8-0 triumph at Betws-y-Coed.
Four goals from prolific forward Joey Fontana played a huge contributing factor in their success, with Dan Gallagher, Adam Hall, Craig Garnett and Tom McIntosh also on target.
Strikes from Fran Roberts, Kieran Kendrick and David Wilkins were enough to give Henllan a narrow 3-2 win at Rhos United, with Sam Roberts, Ethan Jones and Ben Pato firing St Asaph City Reserves to a 3-1 victory over Llanfairfechan Town Reserves.
Llysfaen also picked up a notable win on their travels, with finishes from Jake Reynolds, Nathan Russell and Shaun Davies giving them a 3-1 success at Rhuddlan Town Reserves.
