A rugby themed fun day brought the generations together and marked the contribution of a late community stalwart.
Rhos Rugby club hosted the fun day at the ground off the old Pant Brickworks in Penycae on Saturday to mark the opening of the refurbished changing rooms which features a new kitchen and covered outside area.
This all weather shelter is dedicated to the memory of Ieuan Roberts a former committee member who died suddenly in August 2016 and members of his family were in attendance.
The fun day was followed by a barbeque in the evening when the annual club presentations took place for both the senior players and the minis and juniors.
Chairman Allun Jones said the day was a huge success.
"lots of people turned out", he said.
"We had about 150 people here and it surprised us how many there were.
"The kids really loved it and the seniors loved it too.
"We had a bouncy castle, touch-rugby for the kids, a tug of war."
He added: "There was an under-30's against over-30's match and we had people aged 56 and 57 playing in that.
"There was also the unveiling of the part outside in memory of Ieuan who was always there, and the refurb was supported by a grant from NatWest, which was needed after the damage caused by the weather earlier this year.
"I must also thank our suppliers The Sun Inn in Rhos for their support on the day and after every game."
