THE streets were alive with dancers, drummers and delighted residents at this summer's Bradley carnival.
Organiser Cllr Tina Mannering's efforts paid off as smiles - and colourful paints - were to be seen on children's faces as they enjoyed entertainment acts, ice cream and donkey rides on a glorious first Sunday in August.

Cambria band got crowds in the dancing spirit, while Circus Cimera performed to dozens of eager on-lookers at the Waun's Field, Bradley.
A parade through the street took place, with the aid of Morris Dancers, embodying Cllr Manning's vision of an "old-fashioned type carnival."
She said: "The idea is to try and pull the community together in times of austerity and have some fun and make some positive memories."
Guests tried their hand at drone flying with the Air Cadets, taking on the zip wire and performing some taekwondo moves with the help of martial arts experts.
Cllr Manning thanked everyone involved for their support during this joyous community event.
