A MAN is being treated for serious injuries following a collision with a car in Connah's Quay.
North Wales Police received a call at 10.44am on Tuesday morning that there had been a collision between a pedestrian and a Skoda Octavia on the High Street, near the Boathouse sports bar.
Police and ambulance service were in attendance at the scene.
The road was closed between Fron Road and Wepre Drive, but reopened just before 12pm.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called at approximately 10:40am this morning to reports of an incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Connah’s Quay.
"We sent two emergency ambulances and a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle. One patient was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital."
