MEMBERS of the public are being warned to be vigilant after reports of fraudulent bank notes.
North Wales Police has been made aware of an increase in fake £50 notes or Bank of Scotland notes in Gresford and surrounding areas.
A police spokesman said: "Please be vigilant and ensure you check your cash notes."
