A MAN sustained serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Flintshire, police have confirmed.
A spokesman for North Wales Police confirmed the rider of the quad bike was airlifted to hospital by the Air Ambulance with serious injuries, but they are not thought to be life threatening.
The driver of the Ford Mondeo was uninjured.
Temporary Sergeant Anja Macleod said: “We are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or to anybody who may have seen either vehicle being driven prior to the collision to contact us.
"We are also trying to trace the driver of a high-sided white van that was travelling on the road just prior to the collision and who may have witnessed the incident."
The road was closed whilst officers from the Forensic Collision Investigation Unit carried out initial enquiries and re-opened shortly after 8pm.
