Paul Scott, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service incident commander, said at the scene: "Crews were faced with a well developed barn fire on arrival.
"We have six fire engines in attendance, we are shuttling water from the village and have a one way system in place.
"The fire is now under control and I expect the crews to be here for some time.
"The crews have worked extremely hard and I am very proud of the way they have worked on a warm night to get a water supply to this to prevent any further spread of fire."
