TWO people have been taken to hospital following a collision.
North Wales Police roads policing unit has confirmed the road between Lloc and Trelawnyd A5151 has been closed while officers deal with a collision.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service told the Leader: “We received a call at 3.17pm reporting a two-vehicle collision on the A5151 at Trelawnyd.
“We sent a rapid response vehicle, two emergency ambulances and an air ambulance.
“One patient was conveyed to Glan Clwyd Hospital and the Air Ambulance conveyed an adult male to Royal Stoke Hospital.”
The Welsh Ambulance Service was not able to comment on the extent of the patients’ injuries.
Police collision investigators were also called to the scene - where a farm vehicle can be seen on the road, an eyewitness told the Leader.
A police spokesman said: "The road will be closed for some. Please avoid travelling on any of the minor roads leading onto the A5151 as you may be turned around.
"Please seek alternative routes. Thank you for your patience."
