The famous Red Arrows delighted crowds at Hawarden Airport on Armed Forces Day.
Hundreds of families and aircraft enthusiasts packed into the aviation park on Saturday, while many more lined up outside the airport's perimeter to catch a glimpse of the iconic planes.
In glorious sunshine, the nine-ship team departed from Hawarden just before noon, before flying in formation to Llandudno for a stunning display on the North Wales coast.
The Hawk T1 jets returned to Deeside at 12.28pm, performing a solo manoeuvre for the waiting crowds at the airport prior to landing.
Spectators were able to get close to the Red Arrows pilots, with many able to secure selfies with their heroes, wihle one lucky youngster was handed a signed display route map from one pilot.
