Arsonists torched a vintage car last night in Acton.
Firefighters tackled the blaze at Acton Park Community Centre, on Overton Way, which happened just before 3.30 am.
The vehicle, a Morris 1800, was destroyed by the blaze, which the fire service and police is treating as deliberate.
There were no recorded injuries.
Local Sergeant Vic Powell said: "The Morris was left parked by the owner in the car park and an initial examination by North Wales Fire & North Wales Police point towards a deliberate ignition and so a criminal investigation is underway.
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time who saw any suspicious persons or activity, or indeed knows anything about this fire to contact Police immediately."
North Wales Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed events to contact them on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and quote W078414.
