Traffic is building up.
RUSH-HOUR motorists are being advised to seek alternative routes near Saughall this afternoon (Tuesday) as a broken-down HGV is causing "major" delays.
The incident has been reported on Cheshire police's Twitter feed as causing problems on the A540 at the junction with the A5117, the A494 and the M56 Bypass Road.
The tweet adds: "Traffic is already heavy, please try and find an alternate route while we help recovery to clear the road."
