PEDESTRIANS walking along Watergate Street in Chester may have been puzzled as to why a police tape cordon has been set up outside the former Toycraft building.
The cordon had been set up on Saturday.
Police were unable to provide more details but a local trader said a section of the beam from the first floor of the building had fallen on to the ground.
It is understood the cordon has been set up to secure the area.
