SCHOOL pupils took to the stage in a bid to showcase their talents.
The aim of ‘Estyn’s Got Talent’ at Ysgol Estyn in Hope was to celebrate the different talents on show, rather than compete, and learn organisation skills.
Pupils started organising their own talent show after Christmas and took to the stage to show parents and staff what they had achieved.
The children were told they had to practise in their own time for the talent show, which was held at the school.
Parents were then invited into school for coffee and treats to watch the show.
Gareth Jones, headteacher, said: “It was great because it was all done independently, and we wanted to encourage the children to plan ahead and organise a small production.
“It really does raise their self-esteem as it wasn’t a competition, more like a show to show off the different talents and celebrate them.”
