THE OWNERS of a stolen motorbike have taken to social media to try and recover their beloved vehicle.
Carla May Jones and her partner Rhyn Gwatkin have used Twitter and Facebook to spread the word after Rhyn's blue and white Suzuki was taken from Alexandra Road in Wrexham in the early hours of Monday February 28.
Fellow bikers from all over the country have shared their posts in a desperate bid to reunite the couple with their bike which is a limited edition collectors item.
"They have gotten into our locked back garden, cut the bolts on the gate and taken the bike," said Carla.
"It was a 20th anniversary edition and there were not many made so it's a bit special.
"I've been on all the motorbike sites on Facebook and all over Twitter, advertised it on Gumtree and asked lots of people to share it with their followers."
A week on from when it was taken, Carla still hopes someone will spot the bike or reveal something about its whereabouts.
"It could be anywhere but we've been contacting self-storage places and breakers all over Liverpool and Manchester but we've also spoken to people in the know and they've said it could be in bits," she added.
"We've had so many nice words from people and the police have been helpful despite all the things that have been going in in the last week.
"It's such a special bike I'm not going to stop until we find it."
Anyone with information on the bike - registration number PX05CVR - should call North Wales Police on 101, quoting crime reference number W024151.
