Wrexham's annual St David's Day parade could see more than 1,000 people descend on the town centre.
Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam is organising the event on Thursday, March 1, alongside Wrexham Council.
The parade will leave from the Guildhall at 1pm with those taking part asked to gather from 12.45pm.
The Cambria Band will lead the hordes through the streets of the town before heading to Queen's Square.
There, school pupils will perform for the gathered crowds and the public will join in with renditions of Calon Lan accompanied by the Wrexham County Senior Brass Band.
Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam chief officer, Gill Stephen, said: “There is a warm welcome to anyone who is interested in taking part in the parade to contact us, whether an individual, school, society or local youth club.
“We also hope to build on the success of last year’s ‘best dressed window’ competition by getting even more local businesses involved.
“This competition encourages the town’s businesses to decorate their windows on the theme of St David’s Day to celebrate all things Welsh and the winning business will receive a trophy and there is still time for businesses to contact us to register and receive their free starter pack.”
Anyone interested in getting involved in the parade or taking part in the window dressing competition should contact Gwen Smith, Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam on 01352 744040 or email gwen@menterfflintwrecsam.cymru
