HUW Griffiths leads his Technogroup Welshpool charges to Welsh Cup semi-finalist Bangor City on Saturday (2.30pm).

Griffiths is a big fan of City manager Neville Powell, who has masterminded the club’s two cup successes.

“Neville is a hero up there and justifiably so,” said Griffiths. “City have great support and I know a cup final is as good as the league to them.

“As for my lads I was made up for them after our draws against Airbus UK and Carmarthen Town and hopefully they can continue to improve at Bangor City.”

Striker Mark Stewart is unavailable but should return for the midweek visit of Gap Connahs Quay.

Captain George Hughes will also be available after re-arranging a stag night to lead out his hometown club.

“George (right) has been immense so far this season and such desire to play is remarkable,” added Griffiths.

“Everyone knows our budget problems this season, but this shows the superb spirit within our squad.”
