THE family of a motorcyclist killed in a crash have paid tribute to a “wonderful son and brother”.

Nino Sorrentino, 28, of Llys Wylfa, Mynydd Isa, was riding a green Suzuki motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with a black Renault Clio on Kinnerton Lane, Higher Kinnerton, just before 12.30pm on Saturday.

He was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital by ambulance, but later died.

The car driver was not injured.

A statement released by Mr Sorrentino’s family, some of whom live in Flint, said: “Nino is the most beautiful person we have ever been blessed to meet, not only is his beauty on the outside but it also radiates from within. Our love for him will live in our hearts forever.

“His kindness is limitless and his laughter is endless.

“Nino lived every day to the limit and beyond. And his capacity for friendship is demonstrated by the countless wonderful tributes on Facebook.

“Nino will undoubtedly leave an immeasurable void in this world but along with that void there are many wonderful memories for many people. Nino touched many people with his infectious personality and his lust for life.

“Nino is such a wonderful son and brother and our hearts are truly broken. We will miss him terribly.

“His life although too short is lived to the full, filled with happiness and laughter. We ask that each and every person who had the pleasure to know and love Nino, please remember him this way always.”

Mr Sorrentino’s friend, Jenny Udale, said: “Nino has been a major part in my life and that I will always cherish.

“Nino had a heart of pure gold which is why his many friends and I will always love and miss him.”

Tributes have also been paid to Mr Sorrentino, a former pupil at St Richard Gwyn High School, on social networking website Facebook.

Gwilym Oldfield wrote: “RIP Nino Sorrentino you won’t be forgotten.”

Katrina Ann Williams-Broster wrote: “It’s always the people who don't deserve it. R.I.P Nino.”

And Karen Vale wrote: “RIP Nino, you’re going to be missed. Gone but never forgotten.”
