CAERWYS 2
CLAWDDNEWYDD 5
IT’S now three wins on the bounce for Mark Lewis’ in-form Clawddnewydd, but they were forced to come from behind to defeat basement outfit Caerwys.
Charlie Clubb struck in the first minute, but that was to be the main bright spot for Caerwys on what turned out to be a disappointing night.
Clawdd soon drew level and by the half-time break, they found themselves 2-1 to the good.
They stretched their lead to 4-1 in the second half, before Caerwys managed to find the target again via Nick Voyle’s fine 25-yarder.
David MacCarter was Clawdd’s main goal-grabber on the night, with a couple of strikes, and he was joined on the scoresheet for the visitors by Sion Lewis, Deian Williams and Llion Jones.
