A MAN has died after a fire at his home.
The man, named as Gary Leah by neighbours, was pronounced dead late last night (Wednesday) after firefighters were called to the house on Brynisa Road, Brynteg.
Mr Leah, who was believed to be in his late 50s or early 60s, was a long-time resident of the street and was described as being well-liked.
Firefighters were called to the fire shortly before 8.25pm last night.
On entering the property, the crews found Mr Leah and he was later pronounced dead.
A joint investigation is now being carried out into the cause of the blaze by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police.
