A BOY suffered serious head injuries following a crash in Flintshire yesterday.

The 11-year-old from Bagillt was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital and later transferred to The Walton Centre, Merseyside, after he was in collision with a Ford KA car on

Last night collision investigators were surveying the scene and the car, which had a smashed front windscreen, was driven away by police at about 8pm.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We had the call at 5pm and an ambulance was at the scene within three minutes.
