WITH less than a month until the Royal wedding two Wrexham couples are making final preparations and counting down to their own big day.

Kate and William have booked Westminster Abbey for the service on April 29, they will hold a reception at Buckingham Palace, they have planned the route for the wedding procession and have created a charity gift fund for any well-wishers who want to donate.

Meanwhile Emma Holden and Ian Davies, and Sarah Dutton and Glyn Hughes, are also completing last-minute preparations for their special day – also on April 29.

Emma, 36, a former hairdresser from Hightown, is very nervous about everything being ready on time.

She has found her perfect dress and is due her final fitting just before the wedding, and the suits have been reserved.

But she says she still feels like she has lots to do.

Emma said: “I can’t believe how quickly it has come round.

“I feel like there’s still lots to do but the main things are all sorted like dresses for me and the bridesmaids.

“The Daimler bridal car is booked and the cake and flowers are organised but they obviously can’t be finished yet.”

The Hightown couple will get married at St Giles’ Parish Church followed by a reception at the Wynnstay Hotel and although Emma knows it will not match the grandeur of the Royals’ day she is sure her lovely future hubby Ian, 35, will make her feel like a princess.

She said: “I know I’ll be all right on the day, once everything’s organised and everyone’s at the church I’ll relax.”

Sarah, of Bersham, a teacher at Rhosymedre Primary School, will marry Glyn from Acton, at Christ Church, Rossett, before a reception at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel and she is now excited and confident that everything is running to plan.

She said: “Everything seems to be running pretty smoothly at the moment, I’ve just got a few little bits to do.

“It might be a bit risky because they’ll have to be done last minute but I’m sure I’ll be able to get help. My only little worry is trying to look as good as Kate does. I think every bride wants to look like a princess on her wedding day but it’s hard to compete with a real one.”
