A STUNNING display saw Mark Webster climb back up into the 888.com Premier League play-off positions.
The Denbigh destroyer is now fourth in the standings as he produced his best-ever televised average at 110.19 in a brilliant 8-2 demolition of world champion Adrian Lewis in Exeter.
The win included finishes of 124, 120 and 101.
Webster had lost 8-1 to Gary Anderson in Belfast seven days earlier, but replied with the sixth highest average in Premier League Darts history - second only to five previous displays from Phil Taylor.
"I was atrocious last week but this performance has put that well and truly behind me," said Webster afterwards.
"I froze last week and I knew I had to put it right, and there's no better way to do that than beating the world champion."
