CRUSADERS are officially out of administration, it was announced today (December 24).
The sale of the Wrexham-based rugby league club to Geoff Moss and Ian Roberts has been completed.
The new owners have also received the seal of approval of the Rugby Football League and can now continue with preparations for the new Super League season.
The club will start on minus four points but today's announcement will come as a relief to everyone at Crusaders and new coach Iestyn Harris, who has already made two signings.
He is now expected to continue his recruitment before Super League kicks off with the Magic Weekend in Cardiff.
Crusaders chief executive Rod Findlay said: "It is a huge relief to come out of administration and now everyone can look forward to the upcoming season.
"Crusaders RL has now been given a clean slate and a lot of hard work has been ongoing behind the scenes to bring stability to the club."
