Schools across Flintshire and Wrexham have been closed today because of the weather.
Three Flintshire schools are closed today (Tuesday) after burst water pipes.
Saltney Wood Memorial Primary School remains closed for a second day after flooding over the weekend while Sandycroft Primary School has also been hit by a burst pipe and flooding.
Andrew Liptrot headteacher at Sandycroft said: “Over night a water pipe has burst in our infant department. The water has run through a large area in school. We will make every effort to open on Wednesday.”
Another school that has been forced to close is Sealand Primary School, which suffered a burst pipe this morning (Tuesday). Parents have been asked to collect their children from the school.
Garth Community Primary School, near Llangollen, closed due to the weather today.
