POLICE have launched a fresh appeal to trace a woman who has not been seen for more than seven weeks.

Michelle Valerie Lowe, 36, of Penybryn, Wrexham was reported missing on September 17, but has not been seen since August 26.

She was spotted on CCTV at the Farmfoods store in Hightown, Wrexham on the afternoon of September 15 with an unknown man.

Detectives are now keen to speak to this man.

PC Lynne Willsher said: “As he appears to be the last person to have seen
Michelle, we would appeal to him to come forward as a witness in order that he can assist police in locating Michelle.

“We have no reason to believe at this time that Michelle has been harmed in any way. However, her family are obviously concerned for her welfare and would like to know that she is safe and well.”

Police say Ms Lowe applied for a position while she was in the Farmfoods store.

Michelle is described as being 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, about size 10, with long auburn hair and blonde highlights on the ends. She may be wearing glasses and was last seen wearing casual clothes and jeans.

She is known to have connections in Denbigh and Anglesey and is also known to frequent the Chester area.

Michelle's parents have pleaded with their daughter to come home.

Valerie and Dave Lowe who live in Anglesey said: “We are all terribly concerned about you. Please get in touch with us to let us know you are okay.

"Let us try to put the past behind us. Jess (your dog) misses you too."
