CAR breakdowns sparked miles of rush hour tailbacks this morning (Tuesday, October 12).
The first car broke down at 7.40am on the A494 eastbound carriageway just after the Queensferry on slip road.
The second occured at 8.05am on the A494 westbound carriageway at Aston Hill.
Police officers remained with drivers until recovery vehicles arrived.
The roads were cleared by 8.40am.
