WREXHAM’S Yale College has had its best ever year for A-level results.
The glittering haul includes 63 of the new A*s, and five students are destined for Oxford and Cambridge universities.
Yale notched-up a 98.4 per cent pass rate at grades A-E in a sixth consecutive year of good results, which have averaged 97.7 per cent over the past five years and mirror success rates in vocational courses and apprenticeships.
Over 75 per cent of students gained A-C grades.
Thirty-three out of 40 subjects achieved a 100 per cent pass rate (A-E) -the highest number in Yale’s history.
One student achieved four A*s and three gained three A*s.
A* students have achieved over 90 per cent in their second year modules.
