Andy Morrell is delighted to be back at Wrexham having agreed a two-year deal.
The 35-year-old turned down a new deal with Bury to return to The Racecourse Ground.
Morrell became a favourite during his five years in North Wales, netting 34 goals in a season during 2002-03, and was happy to join Dean Saunders' men.
“I don’t think I would have dropped out of the Football League to go anywhere else,” he declared.
“I have a good affiliation here, I really liked the place when I was here and it feels right to be doing it again."
It was a busy weekend for Saunders with former York City attacker Kevin Gall agreeing to sign for Wrexham.
