TWO men were injured this morning (Tuesday, June 1) when the car in which they were travelling was involved in a collision at the Croesfoel roundabout.

Emergency services were called to the incident, just off the northbound carriageway of the A483, just before 2am.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service helped to free one of the casualties from the vehicle by cutting away the door.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.53am to a road traffic collision on the A483, at the roundabout by the Little Chef Rhostyllen.

“Two ambulances attended and an 18-year-old male with a sternum injury and a male in his 20s with head and neck injuries were both taken to the Wrexham Maelor for further treatment.”
