CHARITY funds are set to be boosted by a massive bike ride.
Children’s charity Barnardo’s Cymru and NWN Media are challenging people from across the region to take part in the event.
Barnardo’s Cymru's North Wales Bike Ride will help raise funds for children, young people and families in Flintshire, Conwy, Gwynedd, Wrexham, Anglesey, Denbighshire and Powys.
The ride will take place on Sunday, June 20 along the North Wales coast.
Starting from Pensarn, the route goes through Colwyn Bay to Rhos-on-Sea and back along a designated cycle path, a distance of about 14 miles.
Entry is £8 per adult. It’s free for children but they are asked to raise £25 minimum sponsorship.
For an entry form or more details call Rachel Madge on 029 20 493387 or email rachel.madge@barnardos.org.uk, or see www.barnardos.org.uk/cymru
After the event there will be a Father’s Day fundraising barbecue lunch at the Rhos Harbour Bistro in Rhos-on-Sea from 12.30pm.
The barbecue will be priced at £15 for a family ticket (two adults, two children) and £2.50 for each additional child and £5 for each additional adult.
