A YOUNG football fan’s dreams came true when he was chosen to be a team mascot.
Wheelchair-bound Harley Noble, four, joined his favourite players on the pitch before the Flint Town United home game on Saturday.
The avid Liverpool supporter, who suffers from a rare form of cerebral palsy, was carried on to the field before the game by his uncle, Flint Town United team captain Shaun Beck.
Harley’s mum, Christina, said: “He loves football and he’s a big Liverpool supporter like his dad.
“He was really looking forward to it. He gets excited when he goes to watch the matches and he even likes watching it on the TV.”
Harley’s parents are trying to raise enough money to build a specially adapted bedroom for Harley at their Bagillt home.
Flint Town United held a raffle after Saturday’s game and all proceeds will go to the Harley Fund.
Sadly Harley did not bring the home side luck.
They lost 1-0 to Penrhyncoch, denting their chances of winning the Cymru Alliance League title.
