A DISABLED young football fan is set to see his dreams come true after being chosen to be a team mascot.

Wheelchair-bound Harley Noble, four, will join the players on the pitch before Flint Town United's match against Penrhyncoch on Saturday.

The avid Liverpool fan, who suffers from a rare form of cerebral palsy, will be carried on to the field before the game by his uncle and team captain Sean Beck.

Mum Christina said: “He loves football and he’s a big Liverpool supporter like his dad.

“He’s really looking forward to it.

“He gets excited when he goes to watch the matches and he even likes watching it on the TV now so he’s going to love this.”

Harley’s parents are currently trying to raise enough money to build a specially-adapted bedroom for him at their Bagillt home.

The football club is holding a prize draw after the game and all proceeds will go to the Harley Fund.
