A MAN was taken to hospital after an early hours street brawl in Saltney.
The 37-year-old victim from Lache, Chester, was taken by ambulance to the Countess of Chester Hospital suffering with what was believed to have been serious head injuries.
However Cheshire Constabulary spokesperson Shelley Williams said the victim suffered minor injuries only.
Police cordoned off the scene of the brawl, close to the City Arms Pub, Chester Street, Saltney, just after 1.30am on Saturday. Forensics were also called to the scene.
Two men, aged 25 and 27, both from Chester, were arrested in connection with the incident.
The 25-year-old man received a caution for a public order offence and the
27-year-old man received a penalty notice.
