TWO men who died in an horrific crash on the A5 Chirk bypass on Monday afternoon have now been named by West Mercia Police following their formal identification.
The driver of the Mercedes estate car involved was Stuart Davies, age 45, of Mold.
At the heel of the cattle lorry was William Thomas Hefin Jones, known as ‘Hefin’, age 43, of Cardigan, Ceredigion.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
Inquests into the deaths of both men are due to be opened this afternoon by the coroner for Mid and North Shropshire, John Ellery.
