THIS pair of four-legged friends turned up unexpectedly at the Leader office.

We’re hoping to sniff out the owner of two yellow labradors who were spotted running along the road near our head office on Mold Business Park, Wrexham Road, yesterday.

They were captured by staff members and spent the afternoon in our former press room.

So far, though, their owner has not been tracked down.

Reporter Kate Forrester said: “They are both really lovely dogs – one looks quite old and we think the other is only a few months old.

“They are really friendly and have obviously been well looked-after.

“The people who found them have been in touch with the police, dog warden and Capricorn Animal Rescue but we haven’t tracked down who they belong to yet.

“I think they’ve quite enjoyed their little adventure, but are probably ready to go back home now.”

The dogs were picked up by Flintshire’s dog warden, who will look to reunite them with their owner.
