POLICE are eager to speak to a man after an alleged pub attack in Mold which left a man in hospital.

Officers say they want to talk to the man about an incident in the Pentan pub, Mold at about 10.30pm on October 31 last year.

A man was allegedly knocked unconscious and needed hospital treatment after asking two other men to stop verbally abusing and bothering three women.

The man police would like to speak to is described as being in his late 20s, 6ft 2ins tall and of large build with short, dark hair.

He was unshaven and was wearing a blue and white striped top. His first name is believed to have been John.

A North Wales Police spokesman said enquiries had been conducted in pubs, schools and homes in and around Mold, but they had not yet been able to trace the man.
