THERE was a strong police presence at Wrexham Magistrates Court yesterday when a man accused of killing mother-of-two Leah Ingham appeared to face a murder charge.
Shortly before Brian Buckley, 41, was brought up from the cells a number of officers made their way into court room number two and stood guard beside the entrance doorway.
Wearing a dark blue sweat shirt and accompanied by security guards, Buckley, of no fixed home, listened from the dock to the legal proceedings.
The case against him was adjourned to Mold Crown Court for February 19 and he was remanded in custody.
The body of Leah Ingham, 25, was found at her home in Montgomery Road, Wrexham, in the early hours of Monday.
