RUGBY fans are being urged to get their tickets now for the clash between Crusaders and Leeds Rhinos at Wrexham’s Racecourse on Friday as the game is heading for a sell-out.
Around 800 tickets were sold on Monday giving the Crusaders, who are now based in Wrexham, a new record crowd four days before kick-off.
It will also be a record rugby league crowd for the ground itself, beating the 6,373 fans who turned up to watch the Wales v England match in 2001.
Crusaders’ previous home record crowd was 6,351 against St Helens in Bridgend last year.
Tickets for the match, which kicks off at 8pm, are available through the ticket office on 01978 262129, or by calling in to the Wrexham FC club shop.
