WREXHAM, Denbighshire and Flintshire have been issued with a severe weather warning as more heavy snow is expected overnight.
The MET Office say further snow is expected through this afternoon, Tuesday 5 January, approximately 5 cm in places.
As temperatures fall, widespread ice is likely to form on untreated roads and paths, with further heavy snowfall then developing.
Drivers are advised to take extra care and refer to traffic Wales for further advise on traffic disruption on trunk roads.
