TWO people were cut free from the wreckage of a car after a crash near Whitchurch.
Two fire crews from Wrexham and Whitchurch were called to Wrexham Road, Whitewell, at 11.45am yesterday.
A spokesman for the fire service said a car had left the road and two people were released by firefighters using cutting equipment.
They were given precautionary checks at the scene.
A WOMAN suffered minor injuries after the car in which she was travelling overturned on the road close to Wrexham Maelor Hospital on New Year’s Eve.
Emergency services were called to deal with an incident, involving a Vauxhall Mariva people carrier, at about 2.20pm.
The woman was briefly trapped inside the vehicle until being freed by firefighters using cutting equipment.
She was treated for a shoulder injury at the nearby hospital.
POLICE were called after a car crashed into the central reservation of a busy dual carriageway.
The one-vehicle crash happened just after 3.30pm on New Year’s Day on the A483 near Mold Road, Wrexham.
The driver of the car was not seriously injured, but motorists faced delays while debris was cleared from the road.
