BOTH men who died in a crash on the A483 near Chirk earlier this week were in their 40s, police revealed today.
The driver of the silver Mercedes E200 estate car was from the North Wales area, West Mercia Police have confirmed.
The other driver of the double decker Volvo livestock carrier was from the South Wales area.
The crash, which also involved a Volvo tanker lorry, happened just before 4.30pm on Monday on the bridge of the A483 between the Halton and Gledrid roundabout near Chirk.
A police spokeswoman from West Mercia Police said that both men killed were believed to be in their 40s.
Formal identification has yet to take place.
A bus and a four by four vehicle were in collision in the Crogen area of Chirk this morning, Wednesday, March 24.
A police spokeswoman from North Wales Police said that nobody was injured during the incident which happened near the Lodgeville estate near Crogen at about 10.20am.
