WORKERS at a Flintshire recycling plant are facing a major clean-up operation after a massive fire broke out on Tuesday.
About 100 bales of paper went up in flames outside the Parry and Evans paper recycling factory in Zone One of Deeside Industrial Estate.
A spokesman for the company said the the cost of the damage was not yet known.
Nine fire appliances were sent to battle the flames and firefighters were still at the scene yesterday morning damping down the flames.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is still taking place.
