MATTHEW Wolfenden came off the bench to help Wrexham FC to a 2-0 victory over Crawley Town at The Racecourse.

The forward set up Mike Williams for Wrexham FC's opening goal before scoring his first for the club to seal victory over Crawley.

Watched by a crowd of just under 2,500, Dean Saunders' side were forced into a reshuffle just before the half hour mark when Lamine Sakho was forced off with an injury, bringing Wolfenden into the action.

And the Reds made the breakthrough in the 59th minute when Williams converted after good work by Wolfenden.

Wolfenden then scored himself after being set up by Andy Fleming with 10 minutes remaining to keep alive Wrexham FC's faint hopes of making the play-offs and move them up to 12th in the Blue Square Premier.
