THE Flintshire mum of a man who was allegedly stabbed to death in Chester at the weekend, has paid tribute to an ‘exceptional person’.

Fynn Michael Levi Western-Davey, 23, of Newtown, died at a house on Balmoral Park, off Cheyney Road, Chester, shortly after 6pm on Saturday evening.

His parents, Simon Western and Louise Davey, who lives in Pontblyddyn say they are in “absolute shock and numb at the loss of our beautiful son Fynn”.

The couple described their loving son as an “exceptional person, known and loved by many people” who will be sadly missed.

Fynn’s parents, his brother Declan, his girlfriend Stacy and his wider family and friends, have said that they will forever be grateful for the joy that Fynn brought into their lives.

In a touching tribute to their son Fynn, Simon and Louise, said: “His childhood was filled with wonder; he travelled the world with his dad, climbing the Himalayan mountains and visiting China and Russia before he was 10.

“He also discovered the world with his mum through games and play, a world that Fynn made wonderful.

“As he grew up he struggled with school, which could not contain his dynamism and energy.”

The family describe Fynn, a former pupil at Queens Park High School, as an “adventurer, and a creative soul”.

Fynn’s parents added: “As a family, we admired his resilience and ability to live life to the full. Fynn’s light shone brightly to all.”

Tributes have continued to pour in on the wall of a group set up on social networking site Facebook, 'R.I.P FYNN DAVEY’.

More than 1,600 people have joined the group and left messages of shock and devastation at the loss of the popular Chester man.

Among the tributes from Fynn’s friends was a message from Leanne Marie, which said: “I just can’t and don’t want to accept you’re done. I miss you already Fynn. You were a true friend and I’ll never forget that or you, I promise.”

A post from another friend said that “heaven has just gained another angel” while Brad Dee summed up the shock of Fynn’s death by adding: “I can’t get my head round this mate, nothing feels the same any more... I will never forget you my mate – sleep well and we’ll catch up soon.”

Floral tributes have been laid outside the house where Fynn’s body was found on Balmoral Park, Chester.

Jason Darren Howells, 34, and Nicola Jayne Bishop, 24, of Balmoral Park, were arrested at the scene and now stand accused of Fynn Western-Davey’s murder.

The pair appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday and were remanded in custody until February 15, when they will appear for a preliminary hearing at Chester Crown Court.
