HEARTFELT tributes have been paid to a 23-year-old who was stabbed to death in Chester.

Fynn Michael Levi Western-Davey died after the stabbing at an address in Balmoral Park, off Cheyney Road, in the city’s Garden Quarter on Saturday.

More than 800 people have joined a group on social networking site Facebook titled “R.I.P. FYNN DAVEY” in memory of the popular man. A 24-year-old woman and 34-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene.

They appeared at Chester Magistrates Court yesterday morning  to have their custody time limits extended by 24 hours so police can continue to question them.

The death of Mr Davey has devastated his friends and family who have been leaving floods of tribute messages on the site.

The group, which was started on Sunday, has been inundated with comments.

A post from one friend said Fynn would “never be forgotten” while Shannon Ward described him as a “great friend”. Jordon Mehta said “missin’ you already lad" while Sophie Elizabeth appeared to sum up the mood of many by saying Fynn had “gone too soon”.

Police in Chester are continuing with their investigations and last night were yet to officially release the names of the two people arrested.
