JOBS in Flintshire have been secured after a soil supplier bought out a coal merchant.
Sealand company Dandy’s Top Soil has acquired H&M Taylor Coal Merchants, based in Connah’s Quay and Heswall, for a five-figure sum.
The move backed by cash from Yorkshire Bank has safeguarded two jobs at the firm and enabled Dandy’s Topsoil to plough ahead with its expansion plans.
