A psychological thriller will be performed in a pop-up theatre in Mold.

Theatr Clwyd  is currently the host of Roundabout, Paines Plough’s pop-up, plug in and play theatre, for its first stop of a UK tour.

There have been two plays performed in the dome so far – How to be a Kid and Out of Love.

For their third and final production in Roundabout, Theatr Clwyd, Paines Plough and the Orange Tree Theatre will present Black Mountain, by Brad Birch.

It revolves around Rebecca and Paul who are running away. They’re trying to save their relationship. An isolated house in the country is the perfect place to work things out. They set themselves rules: they have to be honest, they have to listen and they have to be fair.

But, as the play’s theme goes, ‘you can’t run forever’ - especially when being followed.

Black Mountain is a tense psychological thriller about betrayal and forgiveness and will be performed by Hasan Dixon, Katie Elin-Salt and Sally Messham.

It is directed by James Grieve and it will be performed from July 11 until July 21 with 7.30pm showings.

Tickets cost £15 and concession prices are £13. Under 30s can attend for £5 from July 11 to 14.

There will also be an open dress rehearsal on July 11 where anyone can come along for £5.
