ARSONISTS are believed to be responsible for a fire which completely destroyed part of a house in Deeside during the early hours of this morning.
Two fire engines from Buckley and Deeside were called to Allans Close, Shotton, at 1.55am on Sunday, July 17, to tackle the blaze.
The fire in the shed, which is attached to the house, was out by 2.44am, but suffered 100 per cent damage.
No fire damage was caused to the house and nobody was injured as a result of the blaze.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The cause of the fire was deliberate ignition.
"One hose reel and two breathing apparatus were used.
"There were no casualties."
