A MAN has been taken to hospital after being rendered unconscious following a two vehicle collision in Flint on Saturday night.
Fire and ambulance crews made a control release of the injured man after the collision on the A548 due to concerns over potential injuries.
A fire crew from Flint and one from Deeside attended the incident involving a car and a transit van after it was reported to North Wales Fire and Rescue at 6.36pm.
Crews used small tools to make the vehicles safe and chocks to stabilise them.

A spokesman for the fire service said: "It was initially thought an unconscious adult male was trapped but fire crews helped an ambulance crew with his controlled release from the vehicle."
The fire crews left the scene at 7.20pm.
